I've made a table of contents for all of those Swamp Thing blog entries on my website, here.
It turns out that I enjoy doing this kind of thing. So, as a follow-up—once I have time—I'll be rereading and writing about Grant Morrison's 1994-2000 SF/fantasy/action/philosophy comic The Invisibles, which was one of my favorite things in the whole world 20-26 years ago. I'm both looking forward to and slightly dreading this.

2020-06-07 04:35 (UTC)how many more split decimals?
2020-06-16 05:51 (UTC)(meanwhile, much sympathy on the question of patience for revisiting Moorcock - I had real trouble many months ago with finishing The Whispering Swarm - I knew better than to expect a "hero" but the intersections of the protagonist's flaws and issues having to do with a friend's divorce were just damn ugly...)
Re: how many more split decimals?
2020-06-16 05:56 (UTC)I haven't read The Whispering Swarm or any of his other non-Elric and non-Cornelius stuff, so I don't really have any idea what Moorcock reads like when he's writing about non-superhuman people who ever do any regular things.
