alibi_shopFor the two or three people who read any of this stuff, I thought I'd start putting some links here to the book and movie pieces that I put on other sites—but in batches, so it's not a whole lot of posts. For better or worse, this has become the main kind of writing I do these days.
Movies: Near Dark (1987, ****, rewatch), The Artist & the Pervert (2018, ****), The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019, ****), Godzilla (1954, ****, rewatch), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019, ***), Toad Road (2012, ***½), The Dead Don't Die (2019, ***), Good Omens (2019, ***½), Swamp Thing (1982, ***), A Dog Barking at the Moon (2019, ****), and three shorts from the Frameline festival.
Books: Just the Swamp Thing stuff. I'm reading prose pretty slowly these days.
